flight volume 2 is coming... i'm not sure exactly when, but i can't wait. volume 1 was so awesome, and now volume 2 has a whole heapin' helpin' of some of my all-time heroes, including:

• jeff rowland of wigu and overcompensating
• gabe and tycho of penny arcade
• douglas tennapel of earthworm jim, the neverhood, sockbaby, and countless other works of brilliance
  
• don hertzfeldt of various hysterical stick figure films
  

it's gonna be great. if you don't have the first one, and you enjoy comics, i recommend you go buy it now.

i'm pretty sad because wigu is ending tomorrow, and it's one of my favorite comic strips. i will miss it. i wish i was good at drawrin'.

we sorta need to come up with album art, but i've got no ideas lately.

smoosh is a very good band for two little girls. i bought their album, and i approve.

i did it... i committed murder. i killed the old 2nmusic.com, and in its place erected a new, (hopefully) better one. hold on to your hats and socks because i am about to blow them away in a wild torrent of digital passion. seriously, though, it took quite a while to do.

i bought dreamweaver and now i'm working on redesigning my site. i'll give you a link when it's ready for public consumption.

i got an account over at flickr, it's a pretty cool site. i haven't put anything new up there yet, but i did just put some new film in my holga, and you never know when i might just start snappin' pictures.

we're done recording the i need sleep album, it's just a matter of mixing, mastering, and duplicating it now. i guess we're not calling it "needle pies," though, so all my album designs were for nothing. we don't know what we're calling it now, but evidently anything is better than "needle pies."

ok, so i've accomplished one of my goals!

-add content to danhuff.net
-finish design for thepublishedworks.com
-meet with dan huff and work on huffhoff set to play at fat bean
-work with brian on company protocol
-ink t-shirt design
-finish my album
-write songs to play with i need sleep
-work on needle pies album art ideas

i think this is a first for me... accomplishing something. wow.

the goal i'm working on this month will be writing songs. i've got three new songs in the works, one is called "russia is a very very very very very very very very very big place," one is called "i want to steal all of your ideas," and the third is about an elephant. wish me luck!
