For those of you who are not in the know, I'd like to fill you in on a couple bits of information:

1. I am a huge Fiona Apple fan
2. Fiona's third album, which she finished recording in May 2003, has been shelved by Sony for "lack of commercial appeal" (they wanted radio hits, they got a very good but very odd work of musical art)
3. Sony makes bad decisions like this all the time

So there have been a couple of leaked tracks from this 'upcoming' album (titled "Extraordinary Machine"), which are awesome, but today I discovered via Andy Baio that the entire album has been leaked (in varying degrees of quality) on the intar-nets. You will need to be hip to the bit torrent to get it, and you will need WinRar to unzip the mp3's. Here's where you will find the album.

In my opinion, it is infinitely spectacular.
