tiny house
Sorry I haven't written in forever, I've been trying to get into my vacation after touring. I bought an acoustic electric guitar from DL, and I'm working on a new live solo set. Also, I think I finished my song "Tiny House" which goes like this:
I am building a very tiny house
No on will live there, it's way to small
I have a lot of free time
So, yeah, I'm gonna go practice some more.

drop cuz your brain don't work
Hey, look at this! I Need Sleep has been Mp3 blogged! Here's what "Said the Gramophone" had to say about "I Should Give Up":
Well, the tour continues tomorrow. Posts will be sparse this month.

PS I AM GOING TO LEBOWSKI FEST... WITH A GIRL!
This song is sung by a bleary-eyed truck. and the instruments are white and yellow, dotted and solid, lines. The truck is hungry, and looking for dogs and deer, to ask a dance. What happens when you don't sleep is a look underneath the veil of 'rest'. Feeling sick is feeling good.Heck yes!

Book #3
Finished Freakonomics yesterday, it was very good. Might talk more about it later.
Justin lent me book #3, entitled "The Pirates! In an Adventure with Scientists." So far, it is delightful. It is a short novel in the style of a childrens book, although it is not really intended for children. More on that when I'm done.

the game is afoot!
Inspired by another David, I'm going to try to read 52 books in 52 weeks. I've read that that's just peanuts to some people, but it'll be a pretty big deal to me. I haven't decided on which books I'll pick, and I'm not going to stick to one book a week, so hopefully I'll finish well before 52 weeks is over.
Everything Bad is Good For You will be my starting point, so we'll say I have to finish reading my 52nd book by 5/28/06.
I've already started in on book #2: Freakonomics
Wish me luck!
