The Beardening Part II
Well, I finally grew the beard of the century. It wasn't much, but I was pretty proud of it. But all good things must come to an end, and beards are no exception.
So I shaved, and I took pictures. Check it out.

- Halloween Costume: Google Image Search - Oh god, the geekiness. I'm so jealous I didn't think of this. (via)
- Pastor elecrocuted while performing baptism - He grabbed a microphone while waist deep in water. The woman who was to be baptized was not harmed, but she should be a little wary of what God really wants. (via)

Toilet on the Street
Another performance by Alan. He made a pretty convincing woman from far away, and he got some cat calls from a school bus. They were pretty disturbed when they saw his face.

Happy Halloween! (almost)
This is what happens when you throw together all the crap you have lying around and you call it a Halloween costume. Later I added goggles and poured the contents of some glo-sticks on my shirt and called myself a mad scientist.
Shut up, I didn't know we were supposed to dress up for the show last night...

I'm totally fascinated by Ravi Jain's project "Drive Time" in which he has transformed a half-hour commute to work into a strange and original talk show format. He has guests come on the show and ride with him to work, and sometimes his wife comes along as his co-host. I'm really tempted to drive out to Massachusetts just to be a guest... (via)
uSport iPod shuffle headband - I could totally see Paul wearing this around. Hell, I'd wear this around, it ROCKS.

They Ran, I Slept
This past tuesday I slept on the street wrapped in a big plastic poster with all the marathon runners' names on it. Thanks to Art Walks Chicago for taking these pictures.

Box Head

Today I did a bit of performance art in the park, and a girl in my class was kind enough to take pictures for me. I've posted them all in a Flickr photoset that you can check out. It was a lot of fun.

Here's a doodle I did today. This one goes out to my lady, who I was thinking about while I drew it.

art in grant park

Today in performance art class we went out to Grant Park and saw this guy named Alan. He had these sheets wrapped up around the tree trunks and he was making a list of words. The sheets blew around in the wind, it was really very pretty. I took some videos, which I've posted below. Right-click and press "save file as" to download them.
